I have always believed in, and have incorporated in my designs, the precepts of the Not So Big books. Indoor/outdoor relationships, light, flow, balance, efficiency, functionality, personal needs of my clients as well as their budgetary needs have always been the cornerstones of my design solutions.
One of my projects is included in Not So Big Remodeling: Tailoring Your Home for the Way You Really Live - a small design move with huge impact in a not-so-big house: http://amzn.to/aS15A
In addition, I was the architect on This Old House (Auburndale,(MA) in 2010. I was chosen for a historic renovation award by Historic Newton for a renovation/addition that demonstrated sensitivity to the historic character of the house.
I also write the column `Ask the Architect` for the Boston Globe.
