Home Professionals Directory

It's time for a different kind of house. A house that is more than square footage: a house that is Not So Big, where each room is used every day. The Not So Big House isn't just a small house. Rather, it's a smaller house, filled with special details and designed to accommodate the lifestyles of its occupants. The Home Professionals Directory is comprised of those who embrace the Not So Big philosophy.

About Our Company:

Van Cleave Architecture + Design is a small architectural office that specializes in residential, light commercial and multi-family design. We pride ourselves on the `quality` of the space we create and the fact that it does not take a lot of square footage to make a `quality` space. It does take experience, knowledge and an understanding of the client`s goals to create a NOT SO BIG space particular to an individual, family or business.

As the principal, I have degrees in both Architecture and Interior Design that allow me to visualize your dreams from both inside and out. With 4 years spent living in Tokyo, I have personally come to understand the ultimate NOT SO BIG spaces from the experts - the Japanese! Take a look at our website or HOUZZ profile and you will see for yourself.

Statement of Licensure:

Licensure in Wisconsin and Illinois

NCARB Certification: Architect is NCARB certified.
* The NCARB certification often expedites reciprocity - the process through which one can offer his or her professional services in different jurisdictions after earning an initial license. This means that if an NCARB certified architect is not licensed in your state, the process for getting him/her licensed there in order to work on your project will be fairly quick.
